More strict-tempo delights are in store in this release, which features material by that doyen of music for ballroom dancing, Victor Silvester. The recordings compiled here were originally made between 1934-51 and feature maestro Silvester and his orchestra at the top of their form. Their immaculate performances of evergreens such as You're the Top, On a Slow Boat to China, Baby Face and S'Wonderful are a joy to behold, and there is much more music to savour on this superb release, all of course in the unmistakable Silvester Style'.
